Data centers join Archbald to defend zoning against residents’ appeal

Three data center developers - Wildcat Ridge Data Center Campus, Archbald I LLC, and Project Green - have joined the borough of Archbald to defend its data center zoning ordinance against a group of residents' appeal. The residents argue the ordinance does not adequately protect them, while the borough and developers contend the ordinance is valid and the residents lack standing. The data centers received favorable zoning designations allowing them as conditional uses in various overlay districts. Archbald will hold a second conditional use hearing on the Wildcat Ridge Data Center Campus in March.
