Following the incident, Mayor Greenberg addressed the city's strategy for data centers, announcing that Louisville has proposed regulations to ban hyperscale data centers throughout the entire county. He noted the significant public interest in the proposal, with over 3,600 comments received during the public comment period, which has now concluded.
