Anchors on multiple Fox News and Fox Business programs issued rare on-air apologies and clarifications regarding unsupported claims made by Donald Trump-supporting "Shark Tank" personality Kevin O'Leary. O'Leary had falsely asserted in May that critics of his proposed 9-gigawatt data center facility in Utah were funded by the Chinese Communist Party.

During "The Big Weekend Show," host Johnny "Joey" Jones apologized, stating that O'Leary had corrected the record, admitting "no evidence" for his claims against the Alliance for a Better Utah, Josh Kanter, or Taylor Knuth. Fox News Media also acknowledged the lack of evidence and apologized for the error. Former Trump White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany delivered a similar apology on "Saturday in America," and the correction was featured on Maria Bartiromo's "Mornings With Maria" on Fox Business.

O'Leary himself posted a clarification on X, reiterating that he had no evidence that Alliance for a Better Utah, Elevate Strategies, Gabrielle Finlayson, Taylor Knuth, or Josh Kanter were funded by China or the Chinese Communist Party.
