New Albany City Council sends data center moratorium to committee before potential vote

The New Albany City Council has referred an ordinance proposing a one-year data center moratorium to its Development and Annexation Committee. A vote on the moratorium will not occur until the committee has reviewed the proposal. The committee meeting is scheduled for Monday at City Hall.

The New Albany City Council has referred a proposed one-year data center moratorium ordinance to its Development and Annexation Committee. City Council President Adam Dickey confirmed that the council will not hold a vote on the moratorium until the committee completes its review. The committee is scheduled to meet on Monday at 2 p.m. at City Hall to discuss the proposed ordinance.
