ServerDome Global CEO David Keegan apologized to Hudspeth County residents for not informing them earlier about a planned hyperscale data center at Hueco Ranch. The first phase is projected to cost $15 billion and include 10 domes across 700 acres, with natural-gas power and closed-loop cooling designed to limit impacts on electricity and water resources.

ServerDome Global CEO David J. Keegan apologized to Hudspeth County residents for the company’s failure to disclose its planned hyperscale data center directly before details emerged through news reports and community visits. The project is planned for the 2,000-acre Hueco Ranch site, with a $15 billion first phase covering 700 acres and including 10 dome-shaped buildings.

Keegan said the facility would use behind-the-meter natural-gas generation, closed-loop cooling, and captured rainwater and wastewater for landscaping and on-site ecology. ServerDome also outlined proposed community investments, including a fire station, medical center, leisure center and emergency services, and expects the completed facility to employ 200 to 300 people. Keegan said he and company representatives plan to attend a Hudspeth County Commissioners Court meeting to answer residents’ questions.
