Fintail Drive won't stay quiet for too long. It's where DC Blox plans to build its data center. The city's Metropolitan Development Commission approved it this summer. "I've been very adamant that our townships just aren't getting the investment that they need to grow and thrive," said Councilor Michael-Paul Hart, who represents District 20. He believes the project will bring in money the area needs with the site's tax abatement proposal. "We are consistently seeing things leave the East Side, but we're not seeing that reinvestment, and what we have today is an opportunity to bring that back some of those investments back," Hart said. The data center will generate $27.6 million in estimated taxes paid during the ten-year abatement period, according to Hart.
