The Calvert County Board of Commissioners approved a six-month moratorium on new data center projects Tuesday. Residents packed into the hearing, leaving standing room only. It came just days after Amazon abandoned plans to build three data centers on the grounds of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant following months of intense community opposition.
