Cary puts 18-month pause on data center development (Video)

The town of Cary, North Carolina, has unanimously approved an 18-month moratorium on new large data center developments. This pause, effective until August 28, 2026, will allow the town to study the impacts of data centers on water, electricity, noise, and land use.
