Homeowners, like the Marshall family living approximately 150 feet from the site, claim the year-long construction has made their home "uninhabitable," citing repeated awakenings in the middle of the night due to construction noise, particularly "beep, beep" sounds as early as 4:30 or 5:00 AM.
The residents have placed signs in their front yards to express their disapproval of the project, which they describe as a "monstrosity." Beyond the current construction issues, they voice strong concerns about the data center's future operation, fearing constant humming noises, increased ambient temperatures in surrounding areas based on other data center studies, and a negative impact on their property values.
