Microsoft data center in Mount Pleasant complete, more to come

Microsoft has completed a 315-acre data center in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The facility currently employs 550 full-time staff, with Microsoft anticipating an increase to 800 employees once a second data center, which is currently under construction in the same area, becomes operational.

Looking ahead, the Mount Pleasant village board has given its approval for site plans that could see up to 15 more Microsoft data centers built in the area over the next decade.
