The proposed project encompasses 160 acres north of Olive Avenue and west of Litchfield Road. The land, currently owned by Maricopa County, is zoned for heavy industrial use. Plans for Project Baccara include the construction of two 1 million-square-foot data centers, a 700-megawatt natural gas power plant equipped with 16 turbines, and an APS substation to support its energy needs.
