Cleona Borough Council approved a comprehensive zoning ordinance after months of work, including zoning map changes and a new definition for data centers. The ordinance also addresses residential zoning and the definition of pets, while preserving certain existing property uses through grandfathering provisions explained by solicitor Colleen Gallo.

The council also reviewed the first version of the borough’s proposed 2027 budget, which anticipates a $431 surplus, and approved investments totaling $1.1 million through the Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust. The budget will undergo further review before final action.
