Entergy seeks to boost power capacity for Louisiana’s Meta AI data center in huge expansion

Entergy is proposing a massive expansion of its power generation capacity in Louisiana to support Meta's AI data center. The new plants would generate over 6,700 megawatts, nearly half of Entergy's current total power generation for the state. The project is currently awaiting approval.
