ABC15 Arizona toured NTT’s data center campus in Mesa, where executive Steve Lim explained how the facilities support digital services and manage water and electricity use. NTT says its cooling systems circulate water within the buildings and that the company is working to transition more facilities to closed-loop systems, which use less water than evaporative cooling.

The campus is expected to grow to more than 200 megawatts and include seven data centers, with construction continuing for about two more years. NTT is offering tours and discussions as concerns about the resource demands of data centers increase in Arizona and elsewhere.
