Rock County watchdog group hosting 'public hearing' for input on data centers
A watchdog group named Rock County Neighbors for Responsible Development is organizing a public forum to gather community feedback regarding data center development. The event will take place at Blackhawk Technical College. This initiative follows a recent Town of Beloit Board of Supervisors meeting that discussed a potential hyperscale data center in the area.
The Rock County Neighbors for Responsible Development group is hosting a public forum to solicit input on data centers. The event is scheduled for Thursday night at 6 p.m. at the 400-seat conference center at Blackhawk Technical College.
This forum comes after a Town of Beloit Board of Supervisors meeting on March 16, where over 50 residents gathered to learn about a proposed hyperscale data center that could be developed in the town.
