Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry and other state leaders have announced the groundbreaking of a new AI data center in Central Louisiana. The $3.6 billion Applied Digital AI Factory Campus will be situated in Boyce, located in Rapides Parish, a short distance from Alexandria.
Operations for the new facility are anticipated to commence sometime in 2027. State officials are highlighting this significant project as a crucial step in accelerating Louisiana's economic growth, emphasizing its potential to create 200 direct, full-time jobs with an approximate annual salary of $90,000.
