Wicomico, Federalsburg adopt data center moratoriums

Wicomico County and the town of Federalsburg, Maryland, have both adopted moratoriums on data center development. A Wicomico County Councilman highlighted the importance of communicating with state legislators, noting that the county council's decisions can be overridden by the state.
