A significant contributor to this financial success is the company's product line of liquid cooling pumps designed for computer server racks in data centers. These data centers are actively being developed in other states and internationally, despite potential construction hurdles within New York State, creating ongoing financial opportunities for locally based Moog.
The company also highlighted the effectiveness of its new 13,000 square-foot training center, which opened last year in Elma, Western New York. The center, opened in 2025, has already onboarded 200 production staff, trained nearly 40 machinists, and certified the skills of 1,400 new and existing employees, significantly reducing the time needed for staff proficiency.
However, a company spokesperson also noted that scaling production for space, aviation, and defense-related motion control devices is driven by increased demand from the space program and military actions in Ukraine and with Iran.
