Data center developer sues Hill County over moratorium

A data center developer has initiated legal action against Hill County, Texas, and several of its officials, including the county judge and two commissioners. The lawsuit comes in response to the county's decision to implement a one-year moratorium on data center development within its rural, unincorporated regions. The developer alleges that the moratorium unduly restricts their plans for a data center project in the area.
