The Western Virginia Regional Industrial Facility Authority (WVRIFA) has officially announced its intention to develop the Wood Haven Technology Park, situated at the junction of Interstates 81 and 581 in Roanoke County, Virginia, into a data center. This confirmation was made public on Tuesday, following previous requests for greater transparency regarding the future use of the site.
John Hull, executive director of the Roanoke Regional Partnership, which prepared a map detailing the park's location, is involved in the regional economic development efforts for the area.
