Colorado House District 64 candidate Maureen Dower will hold a public town hall at the Greeley Recreation Center to provide residents with information about data centers and their potential benefits and impacts. Colorado State University professor emeritus Melinda Laituri and Kevin Stearns of the Colorado Citizen Observers Project are scheduled to speak, and the event will also be livestreamed.

The discussion will focus on Global AI's planned data center at the former Carestream Health site at 2000 Howard Smith Avenue W, between Greeley and Windsor. Weld County commissioners recently approved development of the project, which Global AI plans to operate with Nvidia and Humain; it is expected to be the largest data center in Colorado.
