A Texas-based company called Provident Realty is looking to convert the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course in Swatara Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania into a new data center. Provident Realty has purchased 11 parcels of land along Highland Street for $50 million, after the Dauphin County General Authority agreed to sell the golf course for the data center project. Some local residents are concerned about the potential impact on traffic and wildlife in the area.

A Texas-based company looking to convert the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course into a new data center is buying up more property in Swatara Township.
According to Dauphin County tax records, Provident Reality purchased 11 parcels of land along Highland Street for $50 million.
The purchase comes a few months after the Dauphin County General Authority agreed to sell the golf course for a new data center project.
Steve and Linda Williams, who have lived next to the land for 37 years, say they were not surprised about the deal.
