Keller and Westlake officials settled a legal dispute over the proposed Circle T data center near homes in Keller’s Lakes at Marshall Ridge neighborhood. The settlement allows construction to proceed but gives Keller enforceable rights to monitor and address noise, landscaping, environmental conditions and public safety concerns.

Keller and Westlake officials have settled their court dispute over a proposed 1 million-square-foot Circle T data center on U.S. 377. The project would be about 500 feet from some homes in Keller’s Lakes at Marshall Ridge neighborhood, prompting concerns about noise, traffic and water use.

The Keller City Council approved the settlement, which does not block construction. It grants Keller enforceable rights to monitor noise, screening and related operating conditions at the Westlake site, while requiring measures addressing neighborhood impacts, environmental conditions and public safety. Keller Mayor Ross McMullin said the city had advocated for residents living closest to the proposed facility.
