Community members gathered at Stayback Park in Archbald, Pennsylvania, for the inaugural Stand Strong 5K, an event organized to support opposition to proposed industrial data center and power plant development. Proceeds were directed to the legal fund for Stop Archbald Data Centers, a grassroots group challenging the scale and location of the proposed projects.

Participants said they do not oppose data centers categorically but believe such facilities should be located away from residential areas. Residents also raised concerns about noise, water consumption, the cumulative effect of more than four dozen proposed data centers and potential changes to Archbald's landscape and community character.
