Construction of Data Center Campus Ongoing North of Minooka

Construction continues on an Equinix data center campus north of Minooka, near Ridge Road between Wildy and Holts roads. Minooka Village Administrator Dan Duffy said the Village Board raised questions during the project's early stages before approving it.

Duffy said the data center buildings are not expected to be large water users because they will use technology onsite to reduce water demand. He also noted that the developer contributed money to Minooka's parks.
