Kline Township supervisors unanimously approved Amazon’s plan for a proposed data center campus in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The campus is planned for roughly 350 acres of wooded land near Route 309 and Interstate 81, an area comparable in size to about 43 football fields.
The project still requires various permits and approvals from the state. A township supervisor said some site work could begin in the coming months, but no construction timetable has been established.
