Bradley Co. director of planning shuts down concerns about proposed AI data center

Rumors are circulating in Charleston, Tennessee, about a proposed AI data center that could be built on land neighboring Cheree Guy's family farm, raising significant concerns among residents. The Guy family fears the potential development could disrupt their traditional farming lifestyle and impact their livestock. Despite the community's unease, Mayor Gary Davis clarified that, as of now, no formal project submission related to an AI data center has been made to Bradley County for approval. The Bradley County director of planning has also addressed and "shut down" some of the community's concerns, indicating the project is in a very early, pre-application phase.
