The Woodbury County Zoning Commission has announced a series of public hearings to discuss potential regulations for future data center projects within the county. These discussions are part of a broader conversation regarding data center development in Siouxland.

Residents of Woodbury County will have three initial opportunities to provide their input. The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 31st, at 7 PM at the Sloan Community Hall. A second hearing will be held on Monday, September 21st, at 7 PM at the Moville Community Center. The third town hall meeting is set for Monday, November 9th, at 7 PM at the Salix Community Center.

The Commission indicated that additional meetings could be scheduled in other parts of Woodbury County as needed, signaling an ongoing effort to gather comprehensive feedback on the proposed ordinance.
