Prologis has officially withdrawn its rezoning application for a proposed 312-acre technical campus and data center in Washington Township, Michigan. The developer's decision comes after months of community discussion and protests regarding the potential rezoning of the land, located on 32 Mile Road, to an Industrial – Research – Technology zoning district.

In a May 19 letter, Prologis informed the planning and zoning director that it would await the township's adoption of a new ordinance specifically governing such facilities before advancing its plans. Washington Township Clerk Audrey Brown subsequently announced on Facebook that she would introduce a temporary moratorium on all data center applications during the May 20 board meeting, aiming to create time for the community to implement necessary legal safeguards.
