Residents filled the Hubbard High School auditorium to comment on proposed zoning regulations for data centers in Hubbard Township. Some initially supported adopting the rules, but opposition grew after residents learned that approval would end the township's moratorium on data center development.

The Hubbard Township trustees voted to reject the proposed regulations, preserving the moratorium and directing the zoning commission to revise and strengthen the language. Trustee Jason Tedrow said officials wanted to produce a more thorough framework before approving it.
