Google data center begins move into Morgan County as neighbors continue to push back

Google detailed plans for a new, 550-acre data canter campus in Morgan County. In an announcement Wednesday, Dec. 10., Google said the new data center will serve as the "physical infrastructure for the digital services people and businesses use everyday like Gemini, Google Cloud, Workspace (i.e. Gmail, Docs, Sheets), Search and Maps."
