The survey found that 54% of respondents believe data centers are mostly detrimental to the environment, an increase from 39% in January. Additionally, half of Americans view these facilities as mostly negative for household energy costs, and 49% believe they are mostly bad for the quality of life for nearby residents, with both figures rising since January.
