Keel Infrastructure is implementing a scalable onsite power system for its Moses Lake data center campus. The company, which is converting a former Bitcoin-mining facility into a high-performance computing and artificial-intelligence data center, has partnered with PowerSecure, a subsidiary of Southern Company, for the system's design and delivery. This initiative, announced by PowerSecure on September 9, is intended to maintain facility operations during power outages and reduce demand on the local electric grid during peak usage times.
