
West Lampeter supervisors consider data center regulations, open space tax referendum
The West Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors discussed potential zoning requirements for data centers. These regulations are being developed and will be finalized at a future meeting. While proactive, the chairman does not anticipate an immediate impact on the township.
The West Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors convened on July 13 to discuss the implementation of new zoning requirements for data centers. Chairman Randy Moyer stated that while he believes it is prudent for the board to proactively address data center development, he does not foresee it significantly impacting the township in the immediate future. Staff will continue to review existing township ordinances to finalize the proposed data center regulations, with a definitive vote expected at a later meeting.
