Kay emphasized that the action is not about hindering progress but about safeguarding the community's future, which he believes is intrinsically linked to its land and water resources and its agricultural heritage.
City Attorney Alan George commended the Fiscal Court for its proactive stance, noting that other regions are currently struggling to address data center development challenges, while Woodford County has already taken decisive action.
