Luzerne County discusses community concerns with its Data Center Zoning Ordinance Amendment

Addressing and defining data centers in Luzerne County, officials hosted a public forum inside the Luzerne County Courthouse to discuss a proposed zoning ordinance amendment. Residents joined representatives from the county’s GIS, planning and zoning departments, to review the draft ordinance and draw attention to unanswered questions. The drafted ordinance involves 20 municipalities that depend on Luzerne County for zoning regulation.
