On Friday, April 3, a construction worker suffered serious injuries at the Google Data Center construction site in LaGrange, Georgia. The incident occurred around 2:47 p.m. on Pegasus Parkway, where LaGrange firefighters found the worker 50 feet above ground on the roof.
Due to the height and complexity of the situation, additional resources, including an 85-foot aerial platform, were dispatched. Fire crews, in collaboration with Troup County AMR and the site's on-site response team, stabilized the injured worker before lowering them to the ground.
After receiving advanced medical care on the scene, the worker was airlifted to a regional trauma center. Officials reported that the worker remains in serious but stable condition; their identity was not released. The LaGrange Fire Department issued a reminder to construction workers about the importance of safety protocols when working at elevated heights.
