New date set for Clinton data center ordinance hearing
Clinton City Council rescheduled a public hearing on a proposed ordinance establishing zoning rules and development standards for data centers. The hearing will be held Oct. 27 after the original meeting was canceled because public hearings on zoning matters must be announced at least seven days in advance.
The Clinton City Council will hold a public hearing on Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. during its regular meeting to discuss a proposed data center ordinance. The measure would establish zoning rules and development standards for data center projects in the city.
The original hearing, scheduled for Oct. 8, was postponed after concerns about public notice requirements. A ruling requires zoning-related public hearings to be announced at least seven days in advance.
