Southwest Atlanta data center proposal makes sense for the community

A proposed data center development in Southwest Atlanta's Adair Park neighborhood, located at 713 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd., is encountering local opposition concerning a required zoning change. The author, a 21-year resident of the adjacent Mechanicsville neighborhood and Neighborhood Planning Unit-V, initially shared neighbors' concerns regarding the proposal. After further investigation and a site visit, the author has concluded that the project makes sense for the community, despite the ongoing resident opposition to the rezoning.
