The Texas Digital Infrastructure Alliance, an industry coalition led by Dallas executives Marvin Singleton and Darren Grubb, launched Nov. 2 to promote investment in data centers and related digital infrastructure across Texas. The alliance plans to work with policymakers and community leaders and will conduct research and public education on the sector’s economic impact.
The group’s launch comes as Texas lawmakers prepare to debate potential regulations for data center development and operations during the 2027 legislative session. Its advocacy will address electricity demand, water resources, tax policy and workforce development, while a digital advertising campaign seeks to explain how data centers affect Texas communities and local budgets. Development is particularly concentrated in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including Lancaster, Midlothian and Red Oak.
