Granville Township’s zoning hearing board postponed a hearing on data center developers’ appeal of the township’s earlier denial of a zoning permit. The representatives attended to provide evidence and information, but the board heard no arguments and made no decision.

Township zoning board solicitor Jeff Stover sought a continuance after noting that dozens of attendees could not hear the original meeting, raising concerns about compliance with Pennsylvania’s Sunshine Act. Developer attorney Shawn Gallinger objected, but the board rescheduled the hearing for Oct. 26 at the Granville Fire Co. Event Center. The developers also withdrew from a previously scheduled hearing before Mifflin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Aaron Gingrich.
