Pacifico Cedar Creek LLC is proposing a significant 2,842-acre project in Cedar Creek, Texas, that would combine a data center campus with a 710-megawatt natural gas generation facility. This $2.2 billion development, nearly double the size of EdgeConneX's combined Cedar Creek campuses, is slated to begin operations by 2028.
The developer submitted a June 24 application to the Texas Comptroller's office, seeking a 10-year agreement with Bastrop Independent School District under the Jobs, Energy, Technology and Innovation Act, which includes tax abatements. The proposed site is located at 382 Earl Callahan Road and is currently under review.
