Salem City Council schedules public hearing on data center moratorium

Salem city councilors will discuss and then vote to implement a moratorium on new data center projects in Salem on Monday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. at Loucks Auditorium at the Salem Public Library. The moratorium, if approved by the council, would last 120 days and would apply to all data centers that use more than two megawatts of power.
