State public Service Commissioner talks data center power usage

Mississippi is currently undergoing a significant data center boom, attracting substantial investments from major tech companies such as Elon Musk's xAI and Amazon. These multi-billion dollar projects are establishing massive AI centers throughout the state. The rapid expansion of these facilities has, however, sparked considerable public and governmental concern regarding their extensive power and water consumption.
