The Union County Quorum Court has enacted a one-year moratorium on data center development, following an emergency meeting held on Tuesday. The decision was made through the passage of an ordinance by the Quorum Court.
Steven Jones, President/CEO of the Union County Chamber of Commerce, had requested the Quorum Court to postpone the approval of the moratorium.
