Vantage has asked the city of Aurora to impose a 90-day pause on new data center rules as it evaluates alternative locations for its proposed Trident data center near E-470. The company says it is willing to consider sites farther from residential areas and schools in response to neighborhood concerns.

The request has drawn opposition from residents and Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, who said he does not support pausing the new guidelines. Residents remain concerned that the request could delay city action while allowing the project’s existing plans and application to continue moving forward.
