A city consultant estimates that St. Louis will benefit from $430 million in tax revenue within the first decade, with a significant portion, nearly half, allocated to St. Louis public schools. The developer has also committed to paying the city nearly $16 million.
The project's approval comes as it aligns with new data center rules recently passed by the Board of Aldermen. These new regulations include a policy offering no local tax incentives for such developments, indicating a shift in how the city is approaching large-scale tech infrastructure projects.
