Plymouth Council's claims developer backed out of agreed-upon conditions on data center at former steel plant in Conshohocken
Plymouth Township Council claims developer Brian O'Neill reneged on agreed-upon conditions for a data center at a former steel plant in Conshohocken. The council announced O'Neill also filed a validity challenge to the township's zoning code. The township plans to continue opposing O'Neill's application before the zoning hearing board.
During a July 27th livestream, Plymouth Township Council alleged that developer Brian O'Neill had agreed to, and subsequently withdrew from, specific conditions for his proposed data center application at the former steel plant at 900 Conshohocken Road in Conshohocken. The council also disclosed that O'Neill has filed a validity challenge against the township's zoning code.
Council President Lynne Viscio stated that the township would not tolerate such actions from O'Neill and affirmed the township's intent to direct its solicitor to continue opposing the data center application before the zoning hearing board. The next hearing for the application is scheduled for August 6th.
