Livingston County residents push back on proposed AI data center in Howell Township

Residents of a township expressed opposition to a proposed project, citing concerns over utility costs, water usage, and environmental impact. A six-month moratorium has been placed on the project, allowing time to consider regulatory measures. Developers support the moratorium and have offered to agree to conditions regarding noise, light pollution, and water usage. The township board will revisit the rezoning request on December 8.
