Wisconsin is experiencing a surge in data center development, prompting widespread debate in local communities about the actual economic benefits these facilities will deliver. Erik Thompson, Chief Operating Officer of Modular Power & Data, commented on the booming data center market during a visit to Cudahy, Wisconsin. His company, which manufactures switchboards essential for powering data centers, was preparing to ship 42 units, underscoring the high demand within the sector.
